Community Pharmacy Stock Management Lecture

Under the patronage of Dr. Joe Salloum, The President of the Order Of Pharmacists of Lebanon, Mersaco held an event under the theme of ‘’Community Pharmacy Stock Management’’ on Friday, September 23rd at the OPL headquarters in Corniche El Nahr, gathering more than 250 pharmacists.
The event started with the words of Dr. Joe Salloum welcoming all attendees.
Mersaco speech was given by Dr. Georges Aoun, Vice President of Sales at Mersaco, during which he emphasized on the strong partnership with community pharmacists in Lebanon for more than sixty years. Aoun added: ‘’Securing medicine with the highest international standards while upholding the quality of storage and distribution conditions despite all the challenges is our utmost priority.”
Moreover, Mr. Ahmad El Solh, Chief Operating Officer at AUBMC, presented the lecture on how to manage the community pharmacy and its resources in times of crisis. He highlighted the importance of working capital, the availability of products for the customer, and the product mix offered by the pharmacy. He ended his intervention by emphasizing on space management to enhance the customer's experience and reduce operating costs, as well as giving tips on managing stock expiry.
The gathering was an opportunity to reconnect with pharmacists close to World Pharmacist day as we go beyond care.
